Rig 1 sits on top with an 8×8 Tatra; this enables the rig the versatility to navigate almost all terrains.
The UDR 1000 (Rig 1) has the following capabilities:
- 9mt Rod pull
- 70kN Pull Down
- 112kN Pull Back
- 900/350 compressor for onboard air
- KWL Rod Handler
- Diamond Core: PQ to 600mt, HQ to 1000mt and NQ to 1500mt
- RC 5 ½” to 300mt
Rig 2: UDR 650
Rig 2 specifications. This unit is mounted on a 1995 Volvo 8×4.
UDR 650 (Rig 2) has the following capabilities:
- 6mt Rod pull
- 45kN Pull Down
- 75kN Pull Back
- Bean pump for diamond core
- Gardener Denver duplex mud pump
- Diamond Core: PQ to 400mt, HQ to 600mt and NQ to 870mt
Rig 3: UDR 650
Rig 3 specifications. This sits on top of a 1985 Kenworth 8×4.
UDR 650 (Rig 3) has the following capabilities:
- 6mt Rod pull
- 45kN Pull Down
- 75kN Pull Back
- Bean pump for diamond core
- Gardener Denver duplex mud pump
- Diamond Core: PQ to 400mt, HQ to 600mt and NQ to 870mt
Rig 4: UDR 1000
Rig 4 sits on an 8×4 M.A.N.
The UDR 1000 has the following capabilities:
- 9mt Rod pull
- 70kN Pull Down
- 112kN Pull Back
- Diamond Core: PQ to 600mt, HQ to 1000mt and NQ to 1500mt
Rig 5: UDR 1200 HC
Rig 5 is mounted on a MAN 8×4 and has the following capabilities:
- 9mt Rod pull
- 110kN Pull Down
- 221kN Pull Back
- KWL Hands free Rod Handler
- Diamond Core: PQ to 1230mt, HQ to 1700mt and NQ to 2500mt
Rig 6: UDR 1000
Rig 6 is mounted on a Tatra 8×8 with reduction hubs assisting in navigating almost all terrains and has the following capabilities:
- 9mt Rod pull
- 70kN Pull Down
- 112kN Pull Back
- KWL Hands free Rod Handler
- Diamond Core: PQ to 600mt, HQ to 1000mt and NQ to 1500mt.

MJ Drilling has a comprehensive range of support equipment to fulfil the requirements of most client projects. We have a fleet of all terrain trucks, auxiliary compressors, boosters and mud pumps, and the ability to supply track mounted equipment when required.

Our equipment is always serviced within manufacturers specifications.
We have a service and repair register that enables us to ensure our equipment is serviced on time every time.
We also track critical items such as pressure vessel certification, relief valve certification, fire suppression and all steel ropes on the rigs are changed 12 monthly double shift.
